InuHoshi–to–DarkPen
Who would have thought that a bunch of bronies and pegasisters would have been such great creators of fanart? Well, everybody, at least those who haven't been living under a rock, in a nuclear fallout shelter, a thousand metres under an uncharted mountain somewhere in Switzerland. InuHoshi–to–DarkPen, though I can't for the life of me figure out the significance of their name, is one of the finest examples of such fanart, having a consistent, instantly–recognisable style that breaths maturity into a fandom that so many people laughed off way back when. It's expressive without being out–of–this world, and being able to ground your work like that is a sign of a respectable artist. Not to mention, they have the all–important lesbian factor! Hooray for lesbians! Hooray for Fast Horse!
