Here stands the Tomb of the Unknown Artist, cause of death uncertain, and yet applicable to so many victims. It may be an act of Internet suicide, not attaching their name to any work out of presumptions of unimportance or a fear for their privacy. Or they may be a victim of the omnipresent virgin killer that is time, where history, in the course of many young pirates sharing images in an attempt to make it, did not preserve the name of the original creator. This tomb honours the sacrifice of the unknown artist, where they have been lost in obscurity so that their work may live on in the happy anarchy that is free culture.
